Its amazing how many “grown up” “men” have no idea how/what medications they take and are completely dependant on their wives for their own health care. I have seen so many patients who when asked what medications they take were like “oh idk my wife just gives them to me.” One guy even had the nerve to throw himself a pity party because his health had been declining “due to” his wife leaving him.
Maybe this wont resonate with too many people my age because, in the majority, we still have our health. But all you boys out there already calling yourself “men” need to do yourself a favor and get a reality check. Take a better look at what it means to be a man, stop blaming other people for your problems and get it together before you become like one of these people. Females should do this too but im just singling out males because in the past year that ive been working in medicine I hear this on almost a daily basis and have NEVER seen this situation in genders reversed.
